This very minimalistic painting was made by a strong moment of intuition and vital inner movement. I had a terrible urge and desire of red (dark carmine and vermilion) because it symbolizes the need to be awaken from inner winter, which was lived as state of coma, a spiritual immobility. This internal movement (phoenix) is counterbalanced by sad reality (winter is for me a water dragon) and this fight is with no mercy.
