This personal reworking of the Buddist lotus flower and the Taoist yin and yang, even if they are very comercialised and misunderstood spiritual symbols. Spirituality is wrongly seen as an easy job, where as it’s exactly the opposite. The contrast of the softness of the the blue sky hue represents the awarness amid the darkness and pain of the darkest hues, like a lotus flower born in mud who through perseverance creeps to the surface and is ready to bloom at the sun as a reward for hard work.
